The use of mobile picking stations is an extremely efficient and cost-effective method of sorting bulk waste rapidly and with minimal setup. Central Waste Station has several European-built picking stations available that are suitable for a wide range of applications.
Picking stations can be set up as a stand-alone processing operation, or they can be combined with a screener to achieve different processing needs. Central Waste Station can also provide screeners and loading machinery at competitive rates.
Our picking stations are easily transportable and quickly deployed to any location.
The mobile picking line shown in the video below is being used to pick metal and plastic from otherwise clean wood so that the wood can be redirected for energy recovery.
Picking lines can be manned by from 2 to 8 operators depending on the nature of the material and on the throughput required.
In this video, the picking line is set up in series with a screener and is being loaded using a specialised materials handler, but it can be used as a stand-alone unit and loaded with an excavator or small loader.
